Vegetable Plugs

The plug plants we grow can be either conventional or organic.

We have experience in growing over a dozen differant varieties such as, celery , bok choy, leek, onions, spinach cabbage peppers, broccoli etc.

We have the flexibility to grow plants in differant size trays and are willing to try new options.

Cuttings

Our cuttings are taken in late fall and are ready for pick up in the spring. The cuttings are bare root but can also be done in trays if needed.

Our cuttings include black cedars, emerald sand cherry, etc.

We are also willing to give other species a try - just give us a call!

Stock

In addition to starting cuttings ,we also grow containerized nursery stock derived from our own cuttings. They are available in 1 gallon or 3 gallon size pots.

Organics

In 2007 Covemaeker Farms began growing organic vegetable plug plants. Having started with tomatos, peppers, and eggplant and are now growing over a dozen varietys of vegetables like bok choy, squash, celery, cabbage, broccoli , onions etc.

We have certification for NOP, COS, CAN/CGSB and EU.
